The Virtual Stage

Publicity brochure design for a theatre company dedicated to the application of emerging technologies in live performance.
The Virtual Stage investigates the fusion of cinematic and theatrical art forms, and explores the ways in which technologies support and enhance the storytelling. Conceived to project the company’s unique methods of production, the brochure unfolds in a series of unexpected stages to reveal hidden blocks of text and images.
The elements of surprise capture readers’ attention and invite them to investigate the content further. The design effectively communicates to its intended audience of potential theatre patrons and reflects the company’s commitment to push the boundaries of a traditional art of theatre.
